As with anything new, always start with a small dosage of CBD and increase slowly. It may take a few days or even weeks for your pup to become fully acquainted with CBD before the calming or mobility benefits are truly observable.
How do I use your Pet Drops?
Shake well before every use. Fill the dropper to the desired amount. Our Calming or Mobility Drops can be given during or after mealtime.

How much should my dog take?
A good starting point is 5 mg for every 25 lbs of body weight. For example, we would recommend that a 45 lb. springer spaniel start with our "Medium Dog" which contains 10 mg of CBD in each full drop.
Is it possible to take too much CBD?
In short – No. A 2011 review (and 2017 update) on the safety and side effects of CBD found that continuous use of CBD, even in high doses such as 1500 mg per day, is tolerated well by humans.
While we recommend starting small, it is safe to consume slightly more or less CBD based on weight (i.e. 10 mg vs 20 mg for the 45 lb. springer spaniel just starting off) and increase from there.

My little one, Triceratops, is noticeably calmer on on this CBD product compared to others I have tried in the past.

I tried this large dose bottle for my crazy small dog, even a half dropper does the job. Will probably go back to medium size though

I do have to give a double dose to my dog but then she makes it through thunderstorms like a champ. It doesn’t taste like bacon, though!

Nacho is a 4 year old rescue cat. 3 years ago, in April, he decided (as a stray) to hide in my car engine. It being Florida and already 80 at 6 am, I had no thought to thunk my car for cats. That being said, I drove my car about 2 miles and once stopped discovered the horror. Horrible engine burn down the entire left side of him. Of course we "fostered" trying to find his owner but Nacho was meant to be ours.
But he does suffer from PTSD (self-diagnosed I am a psych nurse). Anything sudden triggers an extreme over-response that just is obviously so uncomfortable to experience. Such as, knock to the door. Or we drop something in the pantry. Or the buzzer on the dryer goes off. He reacts like he has heard an engine start again! It is so painful to watch.
So we got mobility drops for his brother, Rigby, and thought we would try calm with him.
Dude- cats are really picky. And although Nacho has a weigh management issue that we are also actively addressing, it took some time and patience to get him to a therapeutic dose. The only saving grace is he is a fat a** and loves food so he would eventually eat it all.
We started with .25 mL once a day in the evening with his wet food. Worked up to .50 mL. Then thought maybe he should be getting a dose in the morning to carry him during the day. So started giving him just a bit of the wet food to also give him the .50 mL in the am for a total of 1 mL for the day. This really didn't seem to do much. And the weight gain from the extra food in the morning was not the direction we wanted to go in. So now we worked a titration and now have him up to 1 mL at night with his wet food and his mood has stabilized significantly. I actually thought I wasn't going to reorder the calm because I didn't see it working. But with the increased dose it actually is reducing (I can't say stop because the coffee grinder sends him flying for cover... but that could be just normal....) his frequency of spontaneous freak-outs when something different happens in his environment.
We never even knew there was a hole in our heart until Nacho came into our lives and filled it. We can't imagine life without him. His injuries required trips to the vet every 3 days for antibiotic and pain shots for months. He is a black cat except for his white scar (which we refer to his racing stripe to the food dish). He had a really rough start- but now with adding the CBD to his diet, he is remarkably more comfortable.

I was disappointed in the Calming oil I purchased. I have a 120 pound German Shepard. I ordered the oil for the X-large dog . For 2 weeks I gave him the dose recommended with no effect at all. I increased his dose to one and a half and the only effect it had on him was he slept for about 2 hours . Is this what the product is suppose to do is make them sleep,? As far as making him more calm it did not happen. Our vet recommended the purchase of CBD oil since his level of aniexty was low. I will not be reordering this product for our dog.

I bought this product to help with travel anxiety when we take RV trips. It definitely helped take the edge off of our Lhasa apso who doesn’t like the truck. She was much calmer and more content. The only issue was that the effect only lasted about 60-90 minutes. I’m going to adjust the dose a bit and see how it goes. So far, I’m pleased!

The salmon CBD calming drops works well for our dog Shado, who has separation anxiety when we leave her alone at home. She used to lay down right by the door the entire time we were out to wait for us. We've tried everything from training, peanut butter filled kong toys, talking through a web cam, etc. Now I give her 0.5mL of the drops 20-30 minutes before we go out (only if we go out for more than 1-2 hours) and she is much less anxious. She's still anxious when we leave but at least she doesn't wait by the door anymore and is able to enjoy her usual spots around the home.
