New to CBD?
The amount of CBD you should take depends on a range of factors, most notably:

As with anything new, always start with a small dosage of CBD and increase slowly. It may take a few days or even weeks for your pup to become fully acquainted with CBD before the calming or mobility benefits are truly observable.
How do I use your Pet Drops?
Shake well before every use. Fill the dropper to the desired amount. Our Calming or Mobility Drops can be given during or after mealtime.

How much should my dog take?
A good starting point is 5 mg for every 25 lbs of body weight. For example, we would recommend that a 45 lb. springer spaniel start with our "Medium Dog" which contains 10 mg of CBD in each full drop.
Is it possible to take too much CBD?
In short – No. A 2011 review (and 2017 update) on the safety and side effects of CBD found that continuous use of CBD, even in high doses such as 1500 mg per day, is tolerated well by humans.
While we recommend starting small, it is safe to consume slightly more or less CBD based on weight (i.e. 10 mg vs 20 mg for the 45 lb. springer spaniel just starting off) and increase from there.
